Join Joshua Cummins as he has an in depth interview with host of It God's Sign Post, Dana Christensen. Dana is a renaissance man. He started life as a bit of a trouble maker, nothing real bad, just enough to get noticed. He was a certified mechanic at the age of 18 and worked in the garage for the phone company where he found that there is a lot more to cars and life. He stayed with the phone company for 26years working in many capacities, but always returned to his love of building hot rods and street racers. He is a disabled veteran and spent time in many countries at the behest of our government. He is a computer network engineer, or, a recovering computer freak. He is a journeymen carpenter, apprentice plumber and electrician. He used to race dog sleds, He had 2 full teams and a third as back up. He's a machinist for the water well industry and also the aerospace industry. He's a composite fabricator working with carbon fiber and worked on and built the worlds largest airplane. He trained service dogs for veterans for 4+ years and has one of his own. But, he thinks all of this was used to bring him to a point where he realized and accepted that...he is a child of God. He has sinned and walked in that world until he realized he was not loving what he was doing. He always knew who GOD was, and is, but danced just outside of field of salvation. That is, until his first wife filed for divorce while he was overseas. God knew his heart, and he knew if he was anywhere near land or even home, He would bail from his duty to the U.S. Military and run back to her. SO, the long story plays out, they got divorced. It was this act, maybe an act of kindness that started him on a course to seek GOD, deeply, in a relationship. He started going to church when he got back, met a real old friend whom he used to drag race with, an officer on board his ship,(Don't tell him GOD doesn't have plans for our lives) and through him he met his current bride of 35years. They have 3 grown children and 6 grand-babies. He is currently on their local school board and does a daily Bible study, originally for Veterans and those who are shut in, but it now is world wide, He has people from all over. His growth is at GODs will, he does't advertise, just word of mouth. God brings those who are searching or hurting into his family. He now studies the Bible and works to deepen his relationship with GOD every day. SO, ya, he's a jack of all trades, some of which wasn't mentioned. The one he is most proud of is apprenticeship under GOD the Father.
