PHASE II — PUT THE TWO SYSTEMS SIDE BY SIDE
Same words don't necessarily mean the same thing.
Progressive and traditional Christians can both talk about Jesus, Scripture, salvation, sin, justice, love, the gospel, and the Church while holding significantly different understandings of those terms.
In Episode 2, we put progressive Christianity and traditional biblical Christianity side by side.
We'll compare their approaches to Scripture, Jesus, the gospel, sin, salvation, human identity, sexuality and marriage, justice, the Church, heaven and hell, and the Great Commission.
The goal isn't to pretend every disagreement is equally important. Christians can legitimately disagree about secondary matters. The question is what happens when the disagreements concern Christianity's foundational claims.
