FFP EP 170! HALLOWEEN? YES OR NO. PART 2

Should Christians celebrate Halloween? In this message, we continue examining what Scripture teaches about Christian holiness, personal convictions, family responsibilities, and how believers should respond to cultural traditions.
Rather than relying on personal opinions or cultural expectations, we turn to God's Word to determine how Christians can make decisions that honor Jesus Christ.
FAITH:
Examining Our Hearts and Reflecting Christ
Scripture: Matthew 5:14–16; 1 Peter 1:14–16; Colossians 4:5–6; 1 Peter 3:15–16
Are our decisions driven by genuine biblical conviction, or are they influenced by fear, pride, social pressure, or convenience?
We examine what it means to walk in holiness, be the light of the world, and maintain a faithful Christian witness. Our calling is not to compromise biblical truth to fit into the culture, but neither is it to mistake hostility toward others for holiness.
Whether we choose to participate in certain Halloween activities or abstain altogether, our conduct should reflect the character of Christ.
FAMILY:
Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:4–9; Ephesians 6:4
As Christian parents, we have a responsibility to disciple our children rather than simply follow cultural traditions.
What are we teaching our children about good and evil? Are we helping them recognize spiritual deception? Are we equipping them to make biblical decisions when we aren't around?
We discuss the importance of teaching children God's Word, establishing godly boundaries, and demonstrating that following Jesus matters more than fitting in with the world.
THE CONCLUSION — Who Is Lord Over Our Decisions?
The Bible clearly condemns occult practices and calls believers to reject evil. However, Scripture does not explicitly prohibit every activity associated with October 31.
We must distinguish between God's commands, Christian liberty, and personal convictions.
Our challenge is to be firm where Scripture is firm, humble where Scripture allows liberty, and loving in every circumstance.
The ultimate question isn't whether Halloween is popular, traditional, or controversial. It's whether our decisions honor Jesus Christ.
"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." — 1 Corinthians 10:31 (KJV)
